Ralls is an agricultural community located 30 miles east of Lubbock in Crosby County. Ralls was founded and named after John Robinson Ralls, who, with the help of W.E. McLaughlin, laid out the town site in July 1911. The Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture was started in 1917. John R. Ralls brother, Percy was the first President. The Chamber was started to help the business and the ever growing community. Ralls is surrounded by productive farm lands that primarily produce cotton and grains, with lesser amounts of soybean, sunflower, and vegetables. Ralls offers small town living with the advantage of being close to a city. We are a friendly town and invite you to come visit us anytime!
